I have dedicated myself to fintech, trading, and investment design doing research, user experience, user interface, and visual work in various companies for over 10 years. Understanding the industries and it's different users, building research and research teams, being part of the communities, and studying finance and protocols in my spare time as it's my passion. I've specialised for 8 years in designing trading, investment, and data visualisation interfaces.

Due to my experience in trading and investment applications, I was given the lead on projects to complete the end-to-end design on my own, committing full-time to each project.

Having already had a few years experience with trading and investment applications, I was chosen to lead on currency.com's projects to complete the end-to-end design and specification.

I started trading in 2016 and since then spent every morning and evening following the markets, day trading, and investing long term. I found an appetite for technical analysis and charting. Because of my passion for trading, I decided to seek to design trading systems as a profession.

Here I implemented the use of bayesian theory to better estimate the execution of new features and redesigns.

Here I worked to build a foundation for user experience design by deconstructing the pillars of trading into non-product oriented tasks and behaviours that would create a launchpad to inform new design thinking and take an industry lacking innovation to the next level of retail trading products.

Onyx Commodities

An opportunity to work at the number 1 liquidity provider for oil derivatives in the world, working with traders as part of their commodities trading. Wanting to undertand as many parts of the financial industry as possible I saw this as a great opportunity to advance my skills and knowledge and work closely with professional traders.

I worked closely with Morgan Stanley and other stakeholders to perform client interviews, workshops, and with the brand team to adhere to the rigorous brand guidelines to create a fund portal for screening and viewing fund data.

Ernst & Young

I was tasked to research and design an application for Ernst & Young that is viewed by their clients and the mobile fraternity as a new paradigm in tablet publication. The stakeholder workshops lasted a total of 3 weeks with 10 members there representing different stakeholder requirements at EY.

I worked closely with the head of Product and Marketing team to launch a trading app that gave ermerging markets the critical access to financial instruments.
